About
If you're building a robotics company, backing one, or deciding whether to join one, this is a way to hear how they actually work from the people running them. I talk with founders, CTOs, investors, and researchers about how the robots work, how the business makes money, and what they've gotten wrong. Unscripted, usually over an hour, with chapters so you can skip to the part you care about.
I'm a robotics engineer. I did research on quadrotors, computer vision, legged locomotion, and human-robot interaction, then spent several years at Open Robotics on ROS 2, where I was the release lead for ROS 2 Humble. I've been interviewing roboticists since 2014, first for Robohub, then Sense Think Act, and now here. More than a hundred robotics startups so far.
I live in Lockhart, Texas, a couple of minutes from Proto-Town.
